To Live & Design 2026: Pop-Up
A Custom Triangular Dining Table & Backdrop Screens
For the To Live & Design 2026 pop-up event in Buckhead, A+V Design Group partnered with Tavia Forbes and Monet Masters of Forbes Masters to bring their design to life. The commission included a custom triangular dining table and cut-out backdrop screens, fabricated from scratch, painted, and delivered to the venue.
Design Brief
Forbes Masters developed the triangular table concept and the event design. Our role was to execute that vision precisely, translating their design into finished pieces that could serve both the display and a gala-style dinner where guests would dine at the table.
Design Challenge
The substantial table required careful planning around its weight, proportions, and intended seating capacity. Exact measurements were essential to accommodating the planned number of guests while maintaining the designers’ triangular form. The edges also needed to be curved for guest comfort and safety as well as appearance.
Results
We worked through the dimensions and construction requirements, fabricated the table and backdrop screens to the supplied design, and completed their painted finishes within a tight turnaround. Careful attention to the table’s proportions, curved edges, and finish helped carry the original concept through to the completed event pieces.
The table functioned as both a display piece and the setting for the event’s dinner. The finished table and screens received an enthusiastic response, with guests enjoying the completed setting. The project demonstrates A+V’s ability to translate a designer’s distinctive concept into custom fabrication for a time-sensitive live event.
