Heritage Supper Club

Custom Brass Signage for Heritage Supper Club

For Heritage Supper Club, a new restaurant from Brandon Blanchard and Chef Demetrius, A+V Design Group was commissioned to create a brass exterior sign that would introduce the venue with quiet elegance.

The restaurant’s concept celebrates Chef Demetrius’ family history and explores the African diaspora through the American experience, including the Harlem Renaissance. Our contribution focused on the signage: translating the restaurant’s existing logo into a finished metal piece that complemented this larger story and the character of its Summerhill setting.

Design Brief

The owners wanted an understated presence that felt at home in the neighborhood. The sign needed to identify the restaurant without overwhelming its exterior or competing with the experience inside.

Design Challenge

The challenge was balancing visibility with restraint. Working in brass, we developed a sign that expressed the venue’s identity through a clean presentation and polished finish, allowing the logo and material to carry the design.

Results

The finished brass sign provides a distinctive introduction to Heritage Supper Club. It reflects the restaurant’s considered aesthetic and demonstrates how a focused custom metalwork commission can contribute to a hospitality venue’s overall identity.
