Emory Village Residence (Frank Lloyd Wright)

Custom Ceilings & Solid Walnut Craftsmanship

A+V Design Group collaborated with designer Mona Ahmed to develop, fabricate and install a collection of project-specific architectural elements for this Emory Village residence. The work included luxury vinyl plank ceiling treatments, a solid-walnut architectural screen, a floating solid-walnut vanity and exterior cedar slatwork.

Design Brief

Design and fabricate custom architectural elements tailored to the Emory residence, using warm natural materials and precise detailing that complement the home’s existing architectural character.

Design Challenge

Every element needed to feel original to the residence rather than added afterward. This required careful attention to proportion, material selection, transitions, and installation within the existing architecture.

Results

The completed walnut and complementary wood features create a cohesive architectural experience throughout the home. The work is integrated with the architecture and specific to the residence while showcasing the natural beauty of the materials and A+V’s craftsmanship.
