Blake's Oyster Bar
An Immersive New Orleans-Inspired Restaurant
A+V Design Group collaborated with Contemporary Lux to translate the restaurant’s design concept into a monumental tree installation and custom oyster-inspired seating. A+V led project management, fabrication coordination, execution and installation alongside a multidisciplinary team of artistic and fabrication collaborators.
Design Brief
Create custom fabricated elements that reinforce the restaurant’s distinctive identity while bringing artistry, craftsmanship, and character into a high-traffic hospitality environment.
Design Challenge
The work needed to deliver strong visual impact while remaining functional and durable enough for daily restaurant use. Each element also had to complement the existing interior and feel integrated into the overall guest experience.
Results
The finished work blends custom fabrication, artwork, and function into memorable, site-specific features. The result strengthens Blake’s visual identity and demonstrates A+V’s ability to create distinctive work for hospitality environments.
